Copywriter/Creative Strategist, c£45-£50K

We’re looking to recruit an experienced Copywriter/Brand Strategist to work with leading retailers and consumer brands within a small, successful retail design agency. You’ll need experience in copywriting for brands across a variety of channels. You should also be able to demonstrate strategic thinking skills before projects are launched into design and copy. Supporting the Head of Copy and working alongside another Copywriter, you’ll be involved in crafting creative strategy and methodology to projects which forms a platform for the Designers and helps to sell in the creative solution. You will need proven experience in retail communications for in-store environments and experience in building comms frameworks and message hierarchies for the in-store environment. Demonstrated knowledge of how customer journey influences messaging. Any concept store development experience would also be beneficial. Provenb knowledge of brand strategy including experience in defining brand propositions, brand strategy setting creative platforms, writing manifestos and brand stories. Tone of voice creation, naming and brand guidelines creation. We’re looking for a superb communicator and competent presenter who can hold their own at senior stakeholder level. A logical thinker with the ability to rationalise and pull apart complex problems and land on intelligent conclusions. Passionate about customer focused communications and able to make sound strategic recommendations based on insight. You will need to be a self starter, capable of managing your own projects and handling multiple projects at once in a fast paced environment.
