An award-winning international retail brand requires a highly motivated, “hands on” Creative Artworker to join their NPD team. The successful candidate will be confident in taking projects from initial brief to final print-ready artwork. Capable of managing multiple projects at once and delivering outstanding results which are on budget and to deadlines set out in critical paths. An excellent communicator who is confident in dealing with a variety of stakeholders. You should have exceptional conceptual and executional abilities and a consumer focused approach to design. This role reports to the Head of 2D creative and supports the packaging and communications teams. You will work to two seasonal product launches per year along with a variety of bespoke packaging projects. You will create final artwork for all product packaging each season, following brand guidelines, retouching images, inserting language text, legal text, usage diagrams etc. You will create cutter guides and design packaging for bespoke customer projects, producing highly finished concepts/3D mock-ups. You’ll also design and artwork two seasonal catalogues per year, including language variations plus the creation of product brochures, sales presenters, exhibition graphics, POS and marketing materials. Ess skills: Adobe CS – Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign. Experience in 3D drawing/rendering software such as KeyShot/Solidworks an advantage. Competence in MS Office (Word, Powerpoint and Excel). A degree in Graphic Design or similar discipline is required along with proven experience within a similar creative environment. This role would suit a highly organised individual who works well under pressure in a fast paced environment. Someone who likes to stay on top of the latest innovations in print and packaging design in order to propose new ideas, help improve practice and investigate new materials and print techniques.
