Creative Director

Our client is looking to recruit a talented Creative Director to spearhead the creative vision and strategy for a broad portfolio of retail brands. Clients range from hospitality to fashion and technology.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of delivering into retail brands and driving brand re-appraisal through brand building. Skills/experience will include creative strategy, brand development, multi-channel campaign creative and brand activation.
You’ll be responsible for the development and execution of creative concepts for campaigns, including in-store, print, digital and social media.
The role requires excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills. You’ll build strong relationships with key stakeholders and clearly communicate creative vision with well thought through rationale and thinking.You should be able to think creatively and develop unique concepts that capture the essence of the brand and resonate with the target audience.
Proven leadership skills are essential as you’ll be managing a team of designers, art directors and copywriters, providing guidance and feedback to ensure high quality work that exceeds client expectations. You’ll be responsible for resource allocation and project prioritisation to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of projects, working in collaboration with project management / production teams. Overseeing the production process from concept development to final delivery, ensuring consistency and excellence in all deliverables.
You should have meticulous attention to detail to maintain brand consistency and ensure the highest quality in all deliverables. The ability to adapt to changing priorities and client preferences in a fast-paced environment. Managing multiple clients and team requirements simultaneously. Able to quickly process information to make informed decisions and communicating those decisions in a concise and compelling way, to gain stakeholder buy-in.
Ess Skills/Experience:
  • Degree in advertising, marketing, design or related field
  • Creative direction for campaigns, including visual aesthetics, messaging and tone.
  • Demonstrable experience leading a creative team
  • Agency side experience preferred
  • Adobe CS and other relevant design software
Work pattern:
Based in London but working a hybrid pattern which will also involve regular UK travel to client sites within the first 3 months at least.
