Design Director (Social), c£60-£70K

Our client, a creative content design agency is looking to recruit a social savvy Design Director to lead their creative studio. You’ll need to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the nuances of the social and digital landscape and how to make performant content optimised for individual channels and touch points. This role would suit a “hands on” heavyweight Creative who can lead and manage a talented studio to deliver a wide range of social and digital focussed creative content, for exciting global clients. As the driving force of the studio, you will use your excellence in brand strategy, conceptual creative and positive team leadership skills to galvanise the studio team and inspire the delivery of the highest quality of work. You’ll be responsible for all aspects of the studio workflow, working across multiple work streams and teams. Responsibilities include the career development and pastoral care of the studio design team, working on a day-to-day basis to develop their work, skills and improve confidence. You should be experienced in resource management (FT and freelance) and be able to juggle multiple projects using resources efficiently to move work through the studio. This role is client facing ensuring that all partners have a creative contact to ideate, liaise and problem solve with. Fostering, nurturing and developing relationships so accounts can be grown over time. You’ll need to be driven and energetic with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to bring out the best in your team.
