Digital Designer, c£30-£40K

An experienced Digital Designer is required to join a friendly and supportive in-house studio. Reporting to the Head of Design, you’ll be responsible for the look and feel of all digital channels for a multi-channel retailer. You’ll also help to contribute to the conceptual development of the overall company campaign creative. We’re looking for candidates with proven experience as a digital designer, preferably gained within retail or a similar fast paced environment. You’ll design engaging visual content for the company’s website, as well as emails, digital marketing and social media. Creating designs that work across browsers and devices to improve the overall customer experience. You will work closely with the eCommerce and Marketing teams to ensure that the brand identity is maintained and consistent. We’re looking for a creative thinker, with originality, imagination and a strong visual sense. You’ll need a good understanding of typography, layout and grid structures and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will be a positive, reliable team player with a “can do” approach. Strong organisational and time management skills and the ability to work under pressure, to tight deadlines is essential. You will enjoy keeping abreast of the latest design trends and competitor campaigns and be confident to bring ideas forward and change things up when required. Ess skills: Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite with image retouching and video editing skills. Knowledge of HTML, CSS and responsive design. Experience of working in Big Commerce or a similar platform.
NB This role is hybrid and requires candidates to work 3 days in the studio and 2 remotely.
