Our client is looking to recruit a talented Middleweight Art Director to create powerful concepts and design solutions for a number of exciting brands. You’ll work in conjunction with the CD, Group Heads and Senior Art Directors to analyse briefs, plan response and produce initial concepts. Developing the chosen concepts to the required standard of finish, within the deadlines agreed with the team. You’ll need relevant art direction experience gained within a marketing/creative agency working across multiple channels including shopper, experiential, retail, digital, social and ATL. You’ll have the ability to sell and convey an idea through drawings/scamps, image sourcing and mood boards. Clearly explaining the creative thinking and production processes involved. You will liaise with account handlers, creative teams and clients where appropriate and actively contribute to ideas and insight brainstorms. “Hands on” in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, with a good understanding of photographic, repro and printing techniques and the terminology involved. You’ll accompany seniors on photographic shoots when required and also assist in the development, mentoring and management of junior staff. Handling projects from outset to completion. This role would suit an astute, passionate and enterprising individual who enjoys keeping up with current campaigns, trends and technologies within marketing/advertising (campaign, design and digital). With an excellent awareness of marketing and brand building generally.
