Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Studio Manager to manage their creative studio and deliver across all of the agency’s clients. You will be the bridge between the studio and client services team, supporting the Creative Directors in the management and allocation of studio resource. Keeping up to date with any resource issues that the agency may require and with accurate planning forecasting where the agency may need additional external resource. You’ll support the client services team in getting the work scheduled and delivered on time. Traffic work through the studio, allocate resources and sign off artwork before submission. You will create and manage a sign off process (pint and digital). You’ll also manage the studio from an admin perspective, managing timesheets, annual leave requests etc. We are looking for someone who can train and be responsible for improving the teams skills and output capabilities. Ensuring that services, software and hardware are utilised properly and that all artworkers and freelancers work in the correct manner, saving files correctly by name and location on the server. This is a fast paced environment so you will need to be self motivated and calm under pressure; able to juggle a variety of projects. Calm under pressure and able to think reactively and pro-actively. You should have flexible approach as ad-hoc requirements with short lead times are frequent. We are looking for candidates who have come from an agency background. Ess skills: Adobe Creative Suite inluding Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator with knowledge of typography and fonts ; so knowing your way around a Mac with good housekeeping habits.
