Middleweight Creative Artworker

We’re looking to recruit a Middleweight Creative Artworker to join an award winning creative agency that specialises in film marketing.

About the Agency: 

The agency is renowned for the origination and delivery of integrated campaigns, many of which begin with conceptual ideas at script stage. They fully manage and art direct the photoshoot process, working with world-class photographers to capture stunning imagery and motion assets during production. Working throughout the entertainment promotional lifecycle, across all consumer touch-points (cinema, home ents, sVod and TV) to create standout advertising materials, from originated artwork or adapted from supplied assets that are brand consistent across the marketing mix.

About the Role:

The Creative Artworker role is core to the success of the agency’s campaign delivery and is pivotal between the studio designers, accounts team and client. It requires someone with an exceptional design skill-set, combined with marketing nous and meticulous attention to detail. You will report to a Senior Creative Artworker and be responsible for creating compelling creative, promotional and advertising materials per account team/client briefs and format specifications. Creative deliverables include, but are not limited to: Key Art, OOH, Press Ads, Promotional Materials (brochures etc) Merchandising Ideas, Campaign Decks and Pitch Decks. Your core responsibilities will include artworking, quality checking and packaging key art designs and other creative materials for delivery to the client, on time and within budget. You’ll act as project/brand guardian to ensure accuracy, legibility and a consistent creative visual identity across all projects and appropriate media. Collaborating with the Account Team, Studio and Digital to help evolve the agency’s creative output and improve efficiency.

Essential skills/attributes:

  • Highly skills in Adobe CS
  • Proficient in Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premier
  • Excellent understanding of typography and layout
  • At least 3 years experience, preferably within a film/entertainment creative agency
  • Able to multi task and manage multiple briefs to tight deadlines
  • Understanding of relevant advertising formats and experience in delivering copy on spec and on time
  • High EQ, respectful team player. Comfortable working in a team with a collaborative, constructive and pro-active approach
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Problem solving skills with the ability to think quickly and creatively
  • Willingness to learn, identify and fill any gaps in knowledge and skills
  • Keen interest in and up to date knowledge of the creative and multimedia landscape
  • An active passion for filmed entertainment, theatre and culture
Working culture: This agency work a hybrid model of 4 days per week in the studio (based in Central London)
Salary: up to £40K subject to skills/experience
